Manor Views Nz Hotel - Huntly

The room was fairly quiet with water views. the room had clean amenities like an electric kettle, microwave, and central heating. - the staff was polite. - the location was amazing, reasonably close to Hampton Downs raceway.

The rooms huge, cheap with views from studio, a TV, ample space.

My stay was excellent with great service from a smily staff. The location was great, very close to supermarket and restaurants, Auckland, Hamilton, Rotorua, Waitomo and the restaurant, and had awesome views.

Friendly and quick service from the staff every time I was here! 😊

beautiful hotel with good wi-fi, the location was favourable in a very quiet area. exceptionally comfortable bed, large bathroom and a kitchen area, plenty space and a patio in the room. pleasant lake views, fantastic food.

The personnel was friendly. the hotel had a nice and unbeatable location close to Hamilton, Manukau, Te Awa mall, supermarket, and restaurants. - It was far away from the airport.

The management were very helpful, although we had told them we would be arriving late. The room was very comfortable, and all we had wanted. We arrived late and left quite early the next morning. It was no problem. I can recommend Manor Views

The owner was very friendly - emailing us before we arrived and leaving clear instructions for our late check in. The bed was amazingly comfortable and it was lovely to have a jug of real milk in the fridge along with jams etc for our toast! For us, Huntly was a very convenient location and it's easy to find Manor Views - just off State Highway 1.

We paid for a 'suite' but to be honest, it was just three smallish and separate rooms which weren't very convenient. And, we didn't have a lake view!!! There was no bedside table on my partner's side of the bed and the wardrobe was difficult to get to as there wasn't a lot of room. There was nowhere to put anything in the bathroom and so I ended up having to put things on the floor! Not great! The spa/jacuzzi bath was average and the shower wasn't very powerful - I expected this to be better! And the bathroom was so small, you had to be careful not to step out of the shower into the loo! The settee in the 'lounge' area was rock hard and not very comfortable and the only way to watch tv was in bed. So, as a practical place to stay for a few nights, it wasn't ideal for us. I haven't recommended it at the price we paid, but if it had been cheaper and more comparable with some of the other motels then I probably would. Sorry, but I didn't think it was worth the extra we paid!

In comparison with other accommodation in the price bracket, we received very small room and the courtyard indicated on our booking was a small wooden covered area looking out on the backyard of this old building. A menu is posted, but one option of an everning meal were available at N$ 30 . For this price for a ordinary plate of 'home food' if compared to restaurants throughout NZ and N$4.50 for a small glass of juice we think this was a rip off.
